The AC barely cooled the room, and the hotel didn’t seem intent on fixing it. During my two-day stay, the floor and shared bathroom were never cleaned, and there were lots of mosquitoes. Cheap shouldn’t mean dirty.

We stayed in the new building and had a really nice, spacious room with a TV, AC, complete furnishings, and a lovely bathroom with hot and cold showers and an ecowash toilet. There’s a supermarket nearby, plus good food stalls within walking distance. It’s in the city area, about 2 km from malioboro. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next Yogya trip :)

The rooms are large and the price is very affordable, which could work well for families. It’s a decent place to spend the night, though getting there is difficult and the sanitation was disappointing.

The room was clean and the staff were wonderful. Tempo Gelato, food stalls, and a market are all within walking distance, so there are plenty of chances to enjoy street food.
