Indonesia Eco Tour Homestay

The hosts were so kind and gave us great tips for things to do nearby. Eco Tours Homestay is a beautiful, very clean place, and we had a wonderful stay. We chose a shared bathroom, which was spotless; the shower and toilet are separate, and there are plenty of hooks for your things. The whole place feels spacious. There are indoor and outdoor areas for working or relaxing, a fridge guests can use, and free drinking water all day. Every room has air conditioning and enough space for belongings. Everything was neat and well maintained. Highly recommended!

The owners are lovely and gave us great service and tips about the area. We stayed four days on a short trip from Malaysia, though I’m from Belgium. The room was bright, with the essential furniture and air conditioning for a comfortable stay in Yogyakarta. It’s also not far from the city centre, and the terrace is a nice place to relax.

We were lucky to find this place for a weekend away before Christmas. It’s peaceful and quiet on the comfortable balcony, looking across at the rice paddy activity, while the busy area is right nearby. The room and facilities were bright, airy and comfortable, in a lovely local area for walks and sightseeing. The owners and staff were welcoming and kind, and helped with everything we needed. Their eco-friendly approach and tasteful minimalist style gave me plenty of decor ideas for home. We hope to return later this year and chat more with the owners, who know a lot about many parts of Indonesia and are a mine of information for travellers.
