Breakfast was good, with plenty of coffee, and the air conditioning worked well. The room was basic but tidy. We paid a bit too much for a family room compared with other hotels, and the bathroom in one of our units needs some work to bring it up to standard.

This heritage homestay needs attention to its utilities. The water pump didn’t work properly, and the power went off at least three times. We stayed four days, and they never cleaned our room, not even the rubbish bin.

The staff were nice, and although their English wasn’t fluent, we could understand each other well enough. It’s a good location, about a 5-10 minute walk to the Kraton. The bathroom is very basic, and breakfast was light.
