I really wouldn't recommend this place. The staff were rude, unfriendly, and provided very poor service. The room was big enough for three, but they wouldn't let three of us stay in one room. They wanted one person to pay an extra 50% of the hotel price, between 140k-200k rupiah per person, saying they got more money through reddoorz than through agoda, where I had booked. They also asked us to book another room for 350k rupiah, 150k rupiah more than my original booking, leaving me nearly 500k rupiah extra to pay. It wasn't worth the money. The room was bad too: the air conditioner wasn't on, the blankets were unwashed and really dirty, and the bathroom smelled like it had never been cleaned. When we first walked in, the room smelled rotten, like spoiled coconut milk. It's down a narrow alley that a car can't fit through, and motorbike parking costs 10k rupiah. If I could give zero stars, I would.

It was the final days after Eid al-Fitr 2026, during the busy Yogya holiday season. This place is worth considering if you're traveling light, don't have a car, and want to avoid a lot of hassle. I didn't expect much when I saw the somewhat crowded reception area, with traditional clothes for rent for photos, but my top-floor room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The AC was cool, the TV worked well, and the bathroom was spacious and clean with hot water. It's in an alley, but food is easy to find nearby, and getting out to Malioboro Street is quick.

The room was clean, fresh-smelling, comfortable, and really nice, and the owner was very kind. I was in Jogja for just a few days. The bathroom was spacious and had hot water, so I didn't have to worry about showering at night or in the morning. Thanks to the lady and the staff for being so friendly and kind 🙏🙏
