Manggolo Homestay Syariah

I was happy with my stay here. It's a good budget hotel with a nice breakfast, and the facilities all worked well. The room was clean but not very spacious. It's around a 10-minute walk from the train station and another 10 minutes to famous JL Malionoro. Sometimes you can hear chanting from the nearby mosque early in the morning.

For a 3 stars hotel, this was a very good stay. We spent 4 nights in an apartment room with an extra bed, which could accommodate 4 pax total. The service, room facilities, and location were all good. My favorite at breakfast was the nasi kuning with abon, sweet and spicy potato, and perkedel. It tasted amazing. Keep it up, manggolo team ✨️

The walkable location near Malioboro street and other attractions made it easy to explore the area. Inside, the place had a nice-looking interior, and I appreciated having racks and hangers for our things. The food was clean and delicious, and staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Parking was extremely limited, cleanliness was only fair, and the shower curtain was dirty. We could easily hear noise from the corridor, lobby, and outside. On arrival day there was a power shortage. The room had only an air conditioner and no fan, and we were given just a small light. Staff dealt with it promptly and offered a half refund for the inconvenience. Amenities were limited to towels and shampoos, with no hairdryer, toothbrush, or toothpaste.

From the Luxury Studio room, it was easy to reach tourist spots and well-known Yogyakarta food destinations, including Malioboro area, Tugu Jogja, Gudeg Yu Djum, and Bakpia Patuk 75. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the amenities were great. Staff were incredibly helpful. I had a great experience at the Manggolo homestay.
