We’re staying here so our family can attend the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Gede Kauman Mosque. Ngasem Market, which is trending right now, is nearby, as are the Sasono Budoyo Museum, titik 0-kilometer Yogya, and Malioboro Street, about 1.5 kilometers away. The Yogyakarta Palace is also close, roughly 1 kilometer from the hotel.

At a very affordable price, we had a spacious room, clean bathroom, and friendly, helpful staff. It was a really pleasant stay at @Mawar Asri.

The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was included in the price we paid. I loved the food, though it felt a little heavy so early in the morning. The only issue was a slight smell from the toilet.

We booked three rooms, and found big cockroaches in two of them. We managed to kill them ourselves, though maybe we were just unlucky. Staff should pay more attention to this. The rooms were otherwise clean and straightforward, and the service made a strong first impression because the staff were helpful and solution-focused. Luckily, there's a nice little coffee shop right in front of the hotel, and it was surprisingly good.

A budget-friendly stay for a vacation with family or friends. Smoking and vaping aren't allowed in the rooms, but there are plenty of smoking areas around the property.
