The location is the big plus, close to the city, cafes, and other hostels. I had a private single room, as shown in the picture I uploaded, but it wasn’t clean: there were stains on the bed and bed cover. The bathroom was clean, though its door wouldn’t close.

For $40 total across three nights, or about $13 a night, it could have been worse. My husband and I stayed here, and you really shouldn’t expect much if you book it. The lights in our room didn’t work, the sheets were stained, there was mold on the ceiling, and we got no towels or toiletries. There was no shower curtain either. Wi-Fi was pretty bad on the third floor, and we could hear all the traffic outside. I’d only suggest it if you’re on a tight budget.

It’s cheap and on the main road, and the Wi-Fi on the first floor is excellent. The room is small, but it has air conditioning and hot water. The staff weren’t friendly, breakfast was just bread, and they didn’t give us a towel unless we asked.

A fairly comfortable budget hotel. It’s near Parangtritis beach, with plenty of tourist spots not too far away, including "Keraton" (King palace), Malioboro street, Kotagede - silver craft city, Alun² Kidul public park, and more.
