It's a vintage house, and the room smelled nice with a clean bathroom. Malioboro is nearby, and you can rent a motorbike for only 70 thousand, bro.

The cupboard wouldn't close, and there was no breakfast. They also didn't provide toiletries or a hot water kettle in each room, which meant less privacy since the house door is also the hotel entrance. Those facilities were all listed beforehand, so the service was disappointing. The rest was okay.

The service was friendly, and the hotel has tea, coffee, sugar, hot water, and a dispenser in the hallway. Its location is handy, with Malioboro Street within walking distance through a small alley, and a mosque next door. The building joins onto the owner's house, so coming in feels like entering someone's home. The host often chats with guests in the living room, and passing through can feel awkward when you have to walk between people talking face-to-face. You take off your sandals at the front. They aren't likely to get lost, but in a hurry, or when children are wearing them, they can easily get mixed up with other guests' shoes.
