At S5 Guesthouse, the people were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The rooms had a pleasant atmosphere, were clean and well equipped, and I especially liked the large shower room. They left fresh bottled water each day, and the morning tea and coffee were a nice touch. Housekeeping is available daily on request, which made the stay easy and comfortable. I had a fantastic time in Yogyakarta.

There was a gecko in our room that we couldn’t catch, though we were told it was harmless. That was the only issue I noticed. The room itself was spotless and spacious, with a TV and a fridge restocked with bottled water every day. Staff were friendly and helpful, and offered an airport shuttle, regular cleaning, and morning coffee or tea. It’s about 20min from the center, with a supermarket and some good food nearby. I’d recommend it to travelers looking for low to mid budget accommodation in Indonesia.

This place felt like an oasis in the city, and we had a great stay. We booked a massage through them, and the masseuse came to us. They were the best massages we’d ever had! The beds were super comfy, and we were given bottled water each day.

Rafel deserves a big thanks for arranging my trip in Yogya! The guest house is in a nice spot near Tamansiswa street, with friendly staff, a clean, comfortable room, and reception available 24 hours. I highly recommend it.

Tea and a few light snacks are free in the morning, and the room service menu has Indomie, small bites, and drinks from 6am to 10pm. There are also plenty of places to eat just a short walk away. S5 Guesthouse is handy for getting around, with Jogjakarta's museums, Keraton palace, and markets nearby. Our room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
