The location worked well for finding food and markets nearby, and the rooms were inexpensive. Still, ours felt dated, smelled somewhat unpleasant, and let in a lot of noise through the thin walls. We didn't feel very comfortable there, so we were glad we'd booked only one night before moving elsewhere in Yogyakarta. Nearby, we found another place that cost just a little more and was much more comfortable for us.

We liked the place and would stay again on a future trip to Yogya. The bed and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, the price was good, and the staff were friendly. It got quite hot at night; there was a room fan plus a small one you could set beside the bed. The hostel sits down a narrow alley, so you can't ride your bike right up to the front.

At around Rp. 170.000, this felt like a good deal, with a shower, air conditioning and a TV depending on the room booked. The staff were kind. Hot water seemed not to be working, and I did find an insect in my room, but a staff member removed it quickly and mopped the floor, so it wasn't a major issue. I'd recommend the place.

I stayed here with my baby, and the staff looked after my family and me really well. They even offered to heat water for the baby. The ambience was nice, everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable too. It's down an alley, which is the one location drawback for me, though it was fine.

Yogyakarta station and Malioboro are about five minutes away. They also offer motorcycle and car rentals. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and nicely designed. For the relatively low price, the service felt five-star.
