The rooftop pool was a great spot to relax, with a cool view and a safe area for kids. Breakfast was good, though I liked the lounge restaurant food even more. Avian was especially polite, helpful, and friendly. The area is lively, so there’s quite a bit of street noise nearby, but we had a very comfortable stay.

The location is a real highlight, especially being so close to Malioboro. Our room was neat and clean, and the hotel is very comfortable and well placed. The staff were professional and friendly, with Rafi, the waiter, deserving a special mention for the service.

After four nights here, we had a good experience. Avian took great care of us at breakfast, which was included, and the pool was clean. The rest of the hotel was clean too, and our room was tidied every day.

The rooftop view was beautiful, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I had Nasi Goreng at The Cube Sky Lounge, which was full of flavour, with a nice egg on top. Enjoyed both the meal and the service.

We were travelling with elderly people, so walking to Malioboro wasn’t an option for us, though it’s walkable if you’re up for it. Breakfast had a tasty range of Indonesian dishes, including kunyit asem, a tamarind turmeric drink. They also have room service options like fried rice and noodles. It was my first stay here. There’s a water dispenser in the corner of each floor, plus a kettle and jug in the room. The shower gets hot, but finding a comfortable temperature was tricky, and the half glass bathroom door left the floor wet 😆.
