The WiFi signal wasn't good, and the rooms are interior, without exterior windows. Still, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was excellent value for money. It's also the first really clean place we've found in Indonesia.

The SleepingRook staff helped me book train tickets and helped my friend arrange a bus and ferry for his next destination. They gave us plenty of advice and made us feel right at home. This is a very comfortable, homey hostel for anyone traveling across Java, with comfortable beds, lots of communal washrooms, and a tasty packaged breakfast. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you to the SleepingRook staff!!

I stayed around 3 months, and it was one of my best experiences! The people are friendly and know how to make your day. The room was nice and the common area comfortable. The food was delicious, and if you're lucky, the owner will make you a coffee. Thank you for all the time here, the food, stories, moments, and everything. Hope I can come back soon!

The outdoor area is beautiful and a great place to hang out, and the kitchen is available to use. There's also a living room with tons of TV channels. I stayed 15 days at The Sleepingroom Hostel and had an amazing experience. The facilities are clean, spacious, and homey. I was in a mixed dorm, and everyone who came through was polite and friendly. The staff make it their first priority to help, connecting you with whatever you need in Jogjakarta, including transport, tourist destinations, and food. It really feels more like a home than a hostel. This was the best experience I could've asked for, and I'll definitely miss living at The Sleepingroom Hostel.

The Sleeping room hostel feels like home, and the staff were especially accommodating. We had a last-minute problem with the room we'd booked, but their warm hospitality still deserves two thumbs up. The place was clean, the food was good for my taste, the bed, pillow, and blanket were clean, the WiFi was good, and the shower room was good too. Hot water wasn't always available whenever you wanted it, though. The staff answered our questions as best they could, offered help when needed, and made sure we had what we needed. There's a lot of good to say about this hostel. If you're looking for a place to stay in Jogjakarta, I definitely recommend THE SLEEPING ROOM HOSTEL.
