The room, service, and atmosphere were all really good. They also let me leave my things with reception when I checked out, so I could go elsewhere and come back later.

Great price.

The friendly staff were helpful, and there was a hot and cold water dispenser plus toiletries. The room was cramped, as budget rooms often are, and I found the bedcovers and cleanliness could be better. The AC didn't get cold enough, and the water heater was inconsistent. It's very close to Jogokariyan and Prawirotaman mosques, but Malioboro and the train station are still about 15 minutes away by motorbike. It could suit people visiting the mosques.
8/10
The room was spacious, with basic amenities, very cold AC, and good hot water. It’s also near the mosque and plenty of tasty places to eat. Still, there was a lot of rubbish under the bed left by the previous guest, and my first-floor room at the front picked up cigarette smoke from the smoking area near reception. The room felt stuffy when I opened the door. It’s a nice option for a day or two, but for a longer stay, especially with older people or babies and children, I’d consider another nearby hotel with a better placed smoking area.
