There’s no wifi at the accommodation, and the Smartfren signal only lasts a minute.

Rooms are kept clean and the rates are affordable, with small rooms as well as family rooms available. The location is handy, only a few hundred meters from Malioboro, but it’s down an alley with no parking. Seems best suited to solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone on a budget.

I forgot to take a photo, but the pictures on Traveloka match what you get in person. For a hotel in the 150-200 price range, it was pretty clean. The bathroom was clean too, though it has no exhaust fan and the floor took a long time to dry. There’s no natural light. Towels and soap are the only toiletries, and the blanket wasn’t wide enough for two. The TV and bed were okay, and the sheets smelled like laundry (?) rather than musty, thankfully. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can make tea or coffee yourself, and there’s a gallon water refill, so bring a bottle if you can, since they only provide glasses. The dispenser makes quite a loud sound. You can hear people talking outside the room, but not sounds from outside the hotel or street. From the front alley, it’s about an 80-meter walk, which is a bit of a hassle with lots of luggage. It’s close to Tugu Street and Malioboro, with Tugu Street about 100 meters away. Fine for a transit stop, but not for a staycation.

A comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff made this a nice place to rest. There’s a water heater downstairs.
