Wake up Homestay

A handy place to sleep if you're travelling solo and waiting for a train, flight, or bus. I stayed in the women's room and got a top bunk, which was a bit of a challenge to climb into and out of. The room felt okay even at full capacity, though it got a little noisy around dusk. The bathroom was just so-so, but at least there was toilet paper and a bidet. You can borrow a flat iron or hairdryer, and leave your bag there to collect after checkout.

If you're travelling alone, it's comfortable enough. You can share a room with other people and pay an affordable price for just your own bed.

The bed was comfortable, and the staff were nice, but the room and especially the bathroom were so dirty that I left before the end of my 7-night booking. They said they cleaned every day, yet I never saw it happen. I took pictures when I left and came back, and the room looked exactly the same each time. I'm allergic to dust, so I sneezed a lot in there. I reported the clogged sink on day 2 and nothing was done. The toilet was so disgusting I didn't want to use it. I've stayed in cheaper hostels with good locations that were clean, or at least actually cleaned every day, so price isn't an excuse. Maybe one night would be okay, but I wouldn't stay longer. I won't come back, even for a free stay.

The room was clean, with each bunk bed area neatly divided. Some bidets didn't work, so the bathroom could use maintenance. Parking is limited, too, since the place is right at an intersection. Still, staying here was a nice experience overall.
