YATS Colony

The atmosphere was calm and fresh, and kids can try the two little becak and take photos with them. My room at Ha Sendang was clean and spacious, with plenty of room for several bags 😆 The staff were friendly and very helpful. The full set of amenities even had Javanese words on them, a nice way to learn a little local knowledge 🫶 Breakfast had lots of variety and was delicious. I tried chicken porridge, salad and omelette, coffee, and a croissant. There was also penne, roasted chicken, fried rice, sautéed pokcoy, sweet porridge (bubur manis, bubur mutiara dan bubur ketan hitam), and various juices.

Clean, cozy, comfortable room, but sound travels straight through the walls. I could clearly hear noise from other rooms, and the shower valves in neighboring rooms squeaked loudly enough to be disturbing.

The breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Yats Colony makes impressive use of limited space, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Yogya who wants budget accommodation with a slightly higher standard.

The swimming pool looks lovely, surrounded by greenery, and the breakfast was okay with plenty of options. I liked the hotel grounds and room interior too. The room was spacious, with good amenities including Nescafe Dolce, a comfy sofa, tatami, and a bed breakfast table. There's an onsen in our area, but it isn't private, and the water wasn't hot enough. Too bad, it has good potential.
