The breakfast was generous and really good, and Pat and Joan made the stay feel special. I spent four days there and loved it. The room was just right, the bathroom was clean, and the shower was comfortable. There’s a handy stop only a three-minute walk away, with transport into central Dublin.

Joan helped us figure out the bus times and routes, and pointed us toward nice pubs, cafes, and parks. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and they even let us pack sandwiches for our days out. The house is beautiful, the shower was impressive, and the beds were so comfortable we wanted to sleep in. Pat and Joan are incredibly kind and made us feel safe and at home. This was honestly my best room stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin for the first time. Leaving felt like saying goodbye to family. Thanks, Joan and Pat!

Geraldine was lovely, and I really appreciated her. The house itself is nice, but the advertising gave me a very different impression of what was included. I expected a private toilet, but didn’t get one, and there were no toiletries despite the listing. Their flyer says breakfast is served every morning, though that wasn’t the case. There was no TV, which didn’t matter much to me, but it’s worth mentioning. Dublin is about 30 minutes away by bus. The old-style keys didn’t always work, and I got locked in my room twice.

The rooms and toilets were clean and looked after, and breakfast was very nice. The hosts were genuinely helpful with anything that came up. I’d definitely stay here again on another trip to Dublin.

The neighborhood is really quiet, and in December there are lovely Christmas light displays. Pat and Joan have made a comfortable little place for travelers on Dublin’s outskirts, with easy access to the C4 bus straight into the city. It’s clean and convenient, and the rooms are quaint and nicely furnished, with a bed, chairs, a mirror, and a fluffy bed. Mornings bring a filling breakfast with local dairy, pastries, yogurt, and cereal. I’d recommend it for couples, solo travelers, and small families.
