Bea and David made us feel like we were visiting friends. They were so warm and welcoming, and the property is beautiful, with immaculate rooms and outstanding food. I stayed two nights at the Artist Residence. If you're considering it and there are rooms available, book before someone else does. I hope to return someday!

The family were welcoming and charming without ever being overbearing, and seemed ready to do anything to make me comfortable. They set up a place for me to paint and spent time talking with me about painting and art, giving feedback and encouragement on my own work. I really appreciated it. The house is full of beautiful art, even on some of the walls, and it's done so tastefully. Together with the stunning location, I found it incredibly inspiring. The cottage was gorgeous, pristine and left me feeling completely comfortable and safe. The owners went above and beyond with their COVID-19 precautions. Breakfasts were gorgeous. Don't miss the omelette or pancakes made with fresh eggs from their own chickens. In the afternoon, they bring out freshly baked treats. I felt more recharged after two nights in the Artist Residence than I would have after two weeks abroad. It couldn't have been better. I'll be back.

The hospitality is fantastic, and the hosts know the area well. It's close to Dublin and has great views. Staying here feels like being at home with your grandma, except she's an amazing breakfast chef. I'd definitely come back.
