From inside Jack’s Bar, we had a lovely view of the Atlantic. A family member suggested we stop in while we were visiting, and the food and service were both excellent. There are banquet and entertainment spaces in the hotel, plus outdoor picnic-style seating. I bet the place really comes alive at night.

The food was superb, and they served 200 guests efficiently, with everything hot and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. I stayed in room 119 at the end of the passage, which was quiet and had a great view. We were there for our company Christmas event, and I always enjoy staying here. Thanks for a great evening, and for the excellent cappuccino in my flask for the drive back to Cork.

The brewery tour and tasting straight from the fermenter were really cool. The hotel is a great place to get away, with delicious food, though the chips were the one food letdown for me. Rooms are comfortable and clean, typical for this kind of hotel in the area, with charm instead of fancy extras. Everyone was super friendly, and I'd definitely stay again. I'd recommend it if you're nearby.

The salmon and Brie starter were the favorites, and the apple crumble and toffee pudding were great, too. We came for dinner as a group of eight and had a brilliant time. The service was great, drinks kept coming, and the food was amazing. Half our group thought it was the best meal of our seven-day trip around Ireland. I'd come back.
