The Booking rating was 8.5, which I still can't work out. The breakfast was awful: the cereal seemed stale and like cardboard, and I've never had more industrial-tasting juice. Our shower didn't work, so we had to use one in another room. The rest of the bathroom looked about 150 years old and badly maintained. The rooms were dirty, with hard stains on the floor that I didn't even want to identify. Probably one of the worst B&Bs I've stayed in, even though I travel a lot, including to really poor regions.

Ruth was so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were really nice, and the breakfast and coffee were to die for. A lovely little getaway, and I'll definitely be back!

We weren't sure what time we'd arrive, but Ruth was very accommodating. Such a good find, with spotless rooms and really comfy beds. Thanks, we'll definitely stay again.
