Beaumont Guesthouse

My room was spacious and had its own bathroom, and the place is really close to the airport, which worked perfectly for an early flight. Even though I arrived very late, it caused no problem at all. The staff were amazing, and I’d definitely stay again.

The room itself was clean and looked out onto a green space where birds were singing and people walked their dogs, which was lovely. Ours had its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, though it sounded as if the room directly across from us, barely two feet away, had to use a shared one. Getting our bags up to the second floor meant hauling them up a very narrow, twisting staircase. We were given just two rough bath towels, plus soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There was a kettle, two cups and spoons, and a TV, but no tea or coffee, so the room was very basic. Bring supplies to make up for what’s missing, since there’s no concierge or staffed desk.

There were ten of us ladies staying together, and the place had enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone. It was a fabulous spot, and getting a taxi was easy.

The owner was very kind and hospitable. It’s clean and comfortable, with good public transport nearby. Recommended!
