The bed was comfortable and the room in the house looked nice, but the stay was uncomfortable overall and I don't think I'll return. On our first visit we had the wrong date, a week early, which was my mistake. The man showed us to a room, then came back two minutes later after checking us in and said we had to leave because the dates were wrong. That was really frustrating. When we came back a week later, we were given a different room. The first one offered had a smart TV, but the room we actually stayed in didn't. Its TV was very old and had about three channels. The bathtub had no plug, so I couldn't take a bath, and the bedroom was freezing. Early in the morning, banging, thumping and slamming woke me up, and I couldn't get back to sleep.

A terrible experience. There was no hot water, the rooms were freezing, and nobody was at reception. The owner didn't answer calls. The place was badly managed and smelled awful. Think twice before booking.

The place was dirty and filthy, with no working shower, a broken toilet and no heating. Nothing seemed to work. This was the worst place to stay. If you've already paid, please try to get a refund and stay somewhere else.

The water in the lodge wasn't warm enough for a shower, which was a real shortcoming. As a visitor in January, I needed much hotter water for it to be acceptable, especially when getting ready to start the day.

It's sort of clean, with most surfaces wiped down, but the whole place feels like it could fall in on itself. The doors don't fit properly in their frames, so you can see through the gaps. I wouldn't recommend it.
