First meal here. The staff were nice, there’s a decent range of food, and the prices are what you’d expect for pub grub. I’d recommend it. In summer it’d be lovely to sit outside and watch the river 😀

Really good service, fantastic food, and a great vibe. My daughter doesn’t like sauce on her burgers, so we asked for the relish on the side but forgot about the other sauce. They immediately took it back and remade it, and were so nice about it that she felt comfortable and tucked into her meal with gusto. Thanks! We’ll definitely be back.

A group of us went for Christmas dinner on 19 December. The atmosphere was great, and both the food and service were excellent. My sirloin was cooked perfectly, with generous vegetables alongside. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Really good.

Since the change in management, this place has improved a lot. The front bar is especially cosy for a drink. I’ve eaten here a few times, and the new menu, and I’d imagine the new chef, are excellent. There’s a wide choice, with lovely food served by polite, friendly staff. I’d happily recommend it as a change for people staying at the Ice House or anyone else.

Noel and the whole team were outstanding for our day two after the wedding, and for the meal the night before our October wedding. The food was some of the best we’ve had, and our family and bridal party couldn’t stop talking about it. We had the front bar for day two, where the food was brilliant again, with excellent live music and second-to-none service. Thanks, Noel, for making everything so easy for us. See you soon.
