The roads were poorly maintained, and the tennis courts were inaccessible and neglected. The unfenced playground was shocking, to be honest.

A comfortable place to stay for a couple of days in Clifden, with the town and other attractions not too far away.

From the outside, it all looks expensive, but appearances can be deceiving. We had a booking and weren't expected; reception was closed, and eventually we got a cottage. It was a bit outdated and not very clean, with a mildew-like smell in the kitchen. There was no heat or hot water at first. They fixed it on the first day, but it still wasn't up to standard. The kitchen utensils were dirty and the bed hadn't been made. There are wonderful places to see around Clifden, and we enjoyed our time at the park.

Good value in a really peaceful spot, about 2 km from Clifden. The houses are so warm, and having turf on the fire feels very Irish. Works well for friends or family.
