A peaceful place to slow down and recharge, surrounded by nature. My friends and I were there on a Tuesday, so I can’t say what weekends are like. The property was well maintained, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the interior was beautiful with all the facilities we needed. The lounge and dining areas were roomy, comfortable, and nicely designed. A good choice for a night or two if you’re exploring beaches or trekking in the mountains.

Spotlessly clean hostel in a remote location, with every facility we needed. Our group had a very comfortable stay, with good showers, comfortable beds, and excellent kitchen facilities. The price was very reasonable too. Highly recommend it.

Everything was really well kept, and the room, mattresses, and shower were all lovely. The only points I’d take off are for the short beds, which seem to be a common issue in Ireland. I’m 193cm, so my feet reached the bottom and my head was jammed against the top. Luckily the missus is short, and I slept diagonally, stealing some of her leg room. The green emergency lights were also a bit too bright at night. Still, I’d definitely recommend the place and would come back if I were in Ireland again.

A quiet, sheltered spot to rest for a few days, and handy if you’re planning to climb Benbulbin mountain. The rooms are small but really nice. There’s a shared kitchen and living room, and though the shower is small, it’s fine. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
