Cashen Course House

I was disappointed with my stay. The place looked a bit tired, and breakfast was badly overcooked. I was given out-of-date yogurt, and the pancakes were black. At the price they charge, I can see why people are choosing Airbnb. I wouldn’t recommend this guesthouse.

Getting settled was quick, we were shown to our room about five minutes after the hostess welcomed us. We’d asked for the room with a spa bathtub shown in the online pictures, and that’s what we got. It was clean, cozy, and spacious, with air conditioning, tea-making facilities, an ironing board, plenty of towels, and bathroom soap and shampoos. Breakfast came with the room and was tasty. I liked filling out a little form with our breakfast choices, it kept things organized and efficient. The price felt fair for the room, and we’ll come back when we’re in the area. It’s a handy B&B for the golf course, beach, town, and possible fishing spots near the estuary.

The family room worked perfectly for the two adults and two kids in our group over Easter weekend. It’s only a two or three-minute drive to the main street in ballybunion, and breakfast had lots of options. Great value, with fantastic hosts. We’d definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful B&B, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I really liked staying here 🥰, though if you’re a very light sleeper like me, the noise could be a problem. I could hear the full conversation downstairs as well as their TV.
