John and Jackie were a delight. Jackie told us about the history of the place, and I loved that it’s in its sixth generation of family ownership. John is also a qualified tour guide, and his recommendations were so good that we immediately changed our plans to fit in as many as possible. If we come back to Ballybunion, the Harty Costello is where we’ll stay. Thanks, Jackie and John!

For breakfast they put out a lovely spread, including a full Irish. Our room was clean, quiet and cozy, with good shower pressure, and the hotel felt charming and secure. We stayed at the Harty Costello on our honeymoon earlier this month, and it was a pleasure to have hosts who truly care about their guests. Jacky helped us check in and shared lots of information about town. John suggested places for the rest of our road trip, including Vaughan's, which was a great place to eat. If we’re back in Ballybunion, we know where we’ll stay.
