The Keepers Arms

It's got a real home away from home feel, and the bar food in the evenings was generous, really good and very affordable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and amazing, and Lily wasn't left out either. There's a little garden area for taking your dog out at night. It's a perfect spot for a peaceful night away, right among amazing attractions at the foot of the cuilcagh mountains and in the centre of the cuilcagh geopark. This absolute hidden gem is DOG FRIENDLY! Sheila and the whole staff were so kind and helpful, making both us and Lily feel welcome, with nothing too much trouble. Great pints of guinness too. I couldn't recommend it more. Call for the best price.

A great place to stay in Bawnboy, and easy to find. The rooms are lovely, there's off road parking, and the hostess is fantastic, friendly and happy to help with anything. Anglers are catered for with a drying room. Well worth a stay.

The room was lovely and warm when I came in from the bitter cold outside, and I enjoyed a pint of Guinness by the stove downstairs. In the morning there was a very pleasant breakfast. The keepers Arms was clean and very nice, and the staff and owners welcomed me warmly. Thanks again for your hospitality during my stay in Bawnboy,Co Cavan.

Shiela and Brian created a lovely atmosphere and made sure we felt welcome the whole time. Sarah was fantastic behind the bar, kept the log fire well stoked and can pull a mean pint of Guinness. The room and facilities were excellent, with a superb shower and great food. There are great drying facilities for our fishing kit and a really good walk in cold room for the bait. Nothing to dislike at all. We'd highly recommend staying here, and we'll be back. A huge thank you to everyone. Many thanks, Brian and Iain.
