We spent one night here, and Bantry is close by. The owners were really helpful and friendly, and put us in a brand new apartment beside a lovely garden. Breakfast had loads of choice, from a traditional Irish plate to pancakes and other treats. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the soda bread at breakfast, the best I've had in west cork, and there was plenty of other choice too. The bay view is lovely, and there's a nice little pub across the road. I think they have a trad session on Sundays. It's also well placed between Bantry and Glengarrif, with quality and service that show how much care goes into the place.

Across our eight weeks in the UK and Ireland, Aran Lodge was our favourite place to stay. Deirdre and Joe made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to keep us comfortable. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and breakfast was generous and delicious.

The owners are very friendly, and breakfast was just right for starting the day. The rooms were neat and very clean. It's an easy place to get to, with a beautiful green garden.

We had a great stay. The hosts were so friendly, and our room was lovely with a great view. I especially liked the breakfast options, including smoked mackerel, which you don't often find even in hotels. Having a pub right across the road was a nice extra. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.
