We loved the mornings here. The continental breakfast was fantastic, with eggs and fresh pastries, and we had a great time wandering around the idyllic garden. The heated outdoor pool was a real treat, letting us swim outside in Ireland without freezing. Our little lodge was beautifully furnished, warm and inviting, with a comfortable bed and great shower. From there we could see a willow tree, flowers, and the pool. Alastair and Gwen were welcoming and attentive, and the moment we drove through the entrance we knew we'd found somewhere special. It felt like a dream, and we didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be back next year!

The lodges were comfortable and had everything we needed, with plenty of peace and quiet. We loved the outdoor pool, lovely accommodation and gardens, and the best breakfast we've ever had. Richard was a lovely host, always helpful, and a wonderful chef too. It's in a great spot between Bantry and Glengarriff. We can't fault this fabulous hidden gem and will definitely be back soon.

The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the outdoor pool is actually warm, which is a real rarity. The lodges are newly refurbished to a very high standard, comfortable, and family friendly. In a beautiful part of the country, with such welcoming hosts who do all they can to make your visit enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I've stayed here twice before and it was top class, but I won't be back after this most recent visit. The fantastic breakfast and in-room coffee machine are gone, and the pool was off limits, which was really disappointing since we were looking forward to swimming. The reception and the bar/restaurant area that used to be open were both locked up. The place and location are beautiful, but the service has fallen off while the price has gone up. You also have to book at least three nights now. I guess it's time to find a new hidden gem.

The heated pool in the beautiful garden was something else. The luxury lodges were fabulous and breakfast delicious. It's just a few minutes by car from Bantry or lovely Glengarrif, a great spot for a break.
