Cavangarden House

Donna made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and shared some of the house’s history. The place is beautiful, with antique details in every room. We loved the rustic fireplaces, kept going so we stayed warm and cosy all weekend. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of choice and flexibility. We came for a friend’s birthday weekend and wished we could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely return. Thanks for having us!

Joanne looked after us from arrival to departure with real kindness, helpfulness, and information about the area. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms are in an 18th-century manor set among lovely meadows, furnished with care and taste, and clean, tidy, and equipped with all the comforts we needed. Family photos on the walls and furniture made the place feel warm and familiar. Absolutely recommend it!

We spent New Year’s weekend here as a group of eight in the self-catering cottage. It was roomy, warm, and had a well-equipped kitchen. The hosts were caring, which helped make this special time of year unforgettable. Fantastic stay, highly recommend!
