There was so much nature right outside, and the cottage made a great base for seeing the Kerry region, with Killarney nearby in one direction. My wife, our 11-month-old daughter, my 75-year-old father and I stayed in the two-bedroom cottage at the end of a 10-day trip around Ireland. We wished we'd booked a month instead of just a few days. Don and Rachel were lovely hosts, and we enjoyed meeting their three pups on walks around the property, then reading or napping on the swings. The cottage had plenty of space and everything we needed. There's a small grocery and two pubs within walking distance. We'd highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful old home. It's pet friendly, well equipped, and reasonably priced. The hosts were friendly, and it made a perfect base for exploring the Ring of Kerry. I can't recommend the accommodation enough!

We had 23 of us together for a family reunion in July, and the house plus the extra cottages worked really well. Each family could have their own space, then join everyone else for big meals, dessert, and stories. The kids loved exploring the beautifully kept grounds and playing with Oscar the Lab by the river. There are four swings, lovely walks, and beautiful views in every direction. The house is close to Killarney, with a few small pubs within walking distance. It suited all our needs, was comfortable, and felt like great value. The caretakers were lovely and did what they could to accommodate us while giving us room to enjoy the place. We all loved it and can't wait to return. My brother-in-law was already trying to arrange a trip for his golf buddies, and I'd happily stay again too. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit difficult with 23 people and all their devices, which can put a strain on any connection. Still, with such a beautiful place to enjoy, being on social media isn't the main reason to travel. I'm grateful we found this charming estate, and I really recommend it.

The property was beautiful, and there were washers on site with a shared dryer. We stayed three nights in the off season with a group of 25 and wished we'd had another night to explore more. It was well placed for trips to Dingle, the national forest, and the Ring of Kerry. We had breakfast at the houses each morning, and found good food in Killarney two nights in a row.

Having the cottages gave everyone some quiet space, which was great for our Christmas gathering of 23. The main house was lovely and comfortable, with a well-furnished lounge, dining room, and kitchen that worked well for entertaining the whole group. We especially enjoyed the open fireplaces and candles. We spent a week there over Christmas 2022 and would definitely recommend it for a big family get-together.
