Rosdarrig House

I wish we'd had more than one night at Brenda's beautiful home. She made us feel so welcome, and sitting over tea and pie felt like visiting a friend. She shared useful tips and directions for nearby sights and restaurants. Our room was spacious and super comfy, and the made-to-order breakfast was delicious. We'll definitely visit Brenda’s Rosdarrig B&B again when we're back in Ireland. Thanks to Brenda and Fiona for a lovely stay!

Our room was wonderfully spacious for the two of us, and the garden and view were amazing. The owners' son welcomed us warmly and showed us the tea room, breakfast room and bedroom. He made tea, then invited us downstairs to the tea room, where there was a beautiful queen's chair and three kinds of cookies. The tea was lovely. He also asked what we'd like for breakfast and gave us a menu with lots of options, plus a map of things to do in the lovely town. Our sincere compliments to the owners of this beautiful bed and breakfast!

The room was tidy and had plenty of room for our suitcases, though the bathroom was a little small. I had trouble adjusting the shower temperature. Irish showers still feel strange to me after ten days there, haha. We had a very good stay, and the host welcomed us and gave us lots of tips for visiting Boyle and the area.

My room was huge, the bed and settees were comfy, and I think there was an electric blanket too. The window looked out over fields, which was relaxing. There's plenty of secure parking, though the entrance is a bit dated. The place has a relaxed feel, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I wasn't sure about the no-showers-after-10-pm rule, especially on a hot night when the establishment was boiling. It wasn't the best place I've stayed, but it made up for that in other ways. I'd definitely consider staying again.
