The bungalow views are lovely, and the price is very reasonable. You’ll need to be happy cooking for yourself, though, as there aren’t many places to eat out unless you’re willing to travel a fair distance. They have peat fires.

I visited friends who were staying in one of the houses. It was spotless and finished to a very good standard. They’d already lit the fire before my friends arrived, which made for a lovely welcome.

Bunbeg beach is brilliant for long walks with the kids, and there’s lots to see around the area. The place itself was clean and really comfortable, in a great location. I’d definitely come back for another stay.

We’ve just come back from a week in a lovely house, and I’m already looking forward to staying again. Great location and a lovely host.
