We paid €300 for three days and got a very basic room with no hot water. When my wife asked for some, the guy said he'd come back, but never did. There was nobody at reception when we needed help either. The carpet was filthy and stained, the paintwork needed attention, and the corridor reeked of smoke. We also had noise all night. No TV or Wi-Fi in the rooms. The place needs renovating. It might suit a stag or hen weekend, but not families. Definitely not somewhere I'd choose to stay again.

The apartment was spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Summerhill Apartments is right in the middle of town, so the beach and shops are handy, with the cinema and amusements only a short walk away. It was our first stay, but I'll definitely be back.

Bundoran, Donegal is a handy starting point for exploring the North and West along the Wild Atlantic Way, and there's plenty for kids to do. Surfers come here for the big waves the seaside resort has to offer. The apartments are cheap, though they badly need restoration, which is reflected in the low price.

The staff were extremely nice when we actually spoke to them, which is the only reason I'm giving it two stars. They were usually in the bar across the street, so we had to ring to get them to come to reception. The apartment was very dirty, and I saw about six spiders in the room. The lift smelled of alcohol. There was just one TV for the whole apartment with around ten channels, and half were in Irish. There's no internet either. I wouldn't stay here again.
