Galway Bay Sea View Apartments

Flat 25 has a strong mold smell, a leaking bathtub, and pipes that drip loudly. The thin, rattling windows have no insulation, so street noise comes straight through. I was first annoyed that laundry soap wasn't provided, since nobody mentioned that ahead of time, but there's no way I'd wash anything in that moldy place. Calling it “Bright and modern” is a lie. I don't recommend it.

I was shocked when I arrived at the Galway bay Sea view apartments. The building is very old, dressed up to look new and modern, but it isn't. The apartments sit on a busy road above noisy commercial premises, beside a noisy pedestrian crossing, and the soundproofing is nonexistent. There's also an unpleasant smell inside, which I think reflects the building's age. If you're expecting a modern, clean apartment, look carefully at the photos and the property on google maps. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The apartment was beautiful, with superb views across Galway Bay. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and Dmitry, the accommodation supervisor, was so helpful. I couldn't fault the place and will definitely book again.

We booked two nights for our family of four, and the whole process went smoothly from booking through the very handy self check-in. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected, spotless and well equipped, with WiFi and stunning views. It's right in bustling Salthill, within walking distance of everything, and having a parking spot was great. Thanks to the Galway Bay Seaview Apartments Team, we'll definitely stay again.
