Quiet and calm despite being right by the village, supermarket, ferry to Valentia Island and the N70 Ring of Kerry. The apartment has a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean, and the owners were nearby, kind and helpful. It's modern, unique, clean and well located, with all you need and so much more. Best apartment in the area. If I could give it six stars, I would.

We still enjoyed the backyard views even though the weather wasn't on our side. The farm animals and dogs were a delight, and the homegrown breakfast, with wild arugula and fresh chicken eggs, was more than I could have asked for. After a long day traveling, the spacious, modern house felt like a welcome break. Anja and Gary greeted us with hot tea, maybe some whiskey, and a warm fireplace, and were so welcoming and friendly, with fun stories too. We hadn't expected to stay here. Our original booking had a mistake, so I called Blue Door House and they had a room for us. We arrived 20 minutes later. This was one of our favorite parts of the trip. I almost don't want to tell people about this wonderful place!
