Dinner was a real highlight. The hake succotash and fish and chips were excellent, and the sticky bread pudding was the best dessert of that kind we've ever had. The young man working at the bar and restaurant was kind and friendly, though sadly we didn't get his name. Quinlan & Cooke made for a lovely stay. We appreciated the fresh fruit and breakfast items in the mini fridge, plus the bag of bread and croissants left at our door in the morning. The staff made the place feel welcoming, thoughtfully put together, and very clean. We'd happily stay again.

We were surprised by how much we enjoyed the restaurant, both the food and the attentive wait staff. Book a table for dinner, it fills up quickly. The rooms are above the restaurant, and we hadn't expected much because of that, but ours was spacious and really nice. There was fruit in the room, a fridge full of breakfast goodies, and fresh bread dropped off in the morning. We were just stopping for one night on the way to Galway. Kate and her team took great care of us, and having parking on site was handy. It's right on the main road, with places to walk around.

We shared the house-made lemon tart with ice cream and berry compote, then finished with two Irish Coffees. The Shellfish Bisque was excellent, the Portmagee Crab Bake was delicious, and the Sea. Bream was expertly prepared. We enjoyed every dish. Our dinner reservation was for 6:30, and the staff greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived. Everyone was friendly, lively, and knew the menu well. A fabulous experience from beginning to end. Highly recommended, and thanks to the Q&C staffers!

The people working at QC’s made our stay in Cahersiven feel special. They were attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout. The boutique hotel was comfortable, warm, and kept in lovely condition, while the restaurant served fresh food with plenty of flavour. The crab bake was sensational and absolutely worth trying. I'd happily recommend QC’s for a good meal and a lovely stay.

We only waited a couple of minutes for a table, and the meal was well worth it. Every dish was delicious, and you could taste the quality. The prices felt fair, and the drinks were especially good value for Ireland. We'll definitely come back.
