Anna Marie was a lovely host and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy the trip. The house is really homely, like a home away from home, and it's central and very clean. There's loads of space in the big house, plus a lovely back yard. We could bring our little dog too, which was great. My family and I had a great stay, and I'd highly recommend this spot in Carlingford!

The house is centrally located, and I loved the back garden. It's well stocked, with a good-sized sitting room and kitchen.

The room and private bathroom were beautiful, and the place was warm and beautifully decorated. It's in a great spot near the village centre, with easy parking. Communication with the owners was great, and we'll certainly visit again. 10 out of 10. Thank you!

The event we had booked for December 11, 2020 was cancelled after restrictions came in, so I contacted the owner straight away and asked for my €200 deposit back. I waited about a month for a reply, then was told a refund wasn’t possible because the property hadn’t been booked by anyone else that weekend. I understand businesses were having a hard time, and I’d have accepted even half the deposit, but no such offer was made. I feel the owner kept my €200 with little or no remorse.

We split the cost between six people and it was really good value. The house was lovely, very central, and within walking distance of everything in Carlingford. We stayed for just one night.
