This cottage is lovely and so peaceful. It was our second visit, and we feel bad we didn't come back sooner.

The house was nice and had everything we needed, including a sauna for warming up after a swim in the sea right on the doorstep. It's close to local beaches and attractions, and the views and wildlife sounds make it so tranquil. Since we swam, kayaked, and went to the beach every day, an outside tap and a washing line would have made things easier.

It feels like stepping into somebody's home, in a lovely way. The cottages are charming, homey, and well maintained. It's a wonderful spot to spend hours with a mug of tea and a good book, and the views are hard to beat. The location is somewhat remote, though easy enough to reach. My husband really enjoyed the golf across the way, and the boys loved being able to walk out the front door and play in the water. The nearby village is small but has groceries, and there are plenty of sights around the area.

There's loads to do for all ages, from beaches to butterflies and everything in between, while the place itself is incredibly peaceful. The local pubs are great and the food is delicious. It's family owned and run, and they do so much to help you. This is a beautiful part of the world, and the sights are all very handy to reach. To me, it's the best place in the world.

This was my second stay, and Paddy, the owner, was as helpful as ever. Nothing is too much trouble for him. We had great weather in this beautiful spot, and with hardly any light pollution at night, you really should spend time stargazing. Downings is one way, with nice places to eat and the Harbour Bar. The other road leads to Carrigart, where there's a small supermarket with a good selection. Drives along the Atlantic Way have stunning views. Highly recommended.
