Breakfast had plenty of traditional choices, and the staff were cordial and helpful. The hotel is a stately building just across from the ocean, which I enjoyed as a visitor to the Emerald Isle. The room was clean and comfortable enough. Air conditioning would have been nice, though the breeze off the shore helped. The car park filled up each night, but it worked out.

The location is superb, and we had a really comfortable, enjoyable stay. There are a few little signs of wear in this grand, characterful hotel, but nothing that bothered us. Our clean room had everything we needed, with comfortable beds, good-quality sheets, hot water, and fluffy towels. Breakfast was generous, too.

We had an easy time arranging our family reunion here, and most of the family stayed at the hotel, so we got the full experience. The location is superb and the staff were so helpful. Everyone stayed in the residents' bar late into the night, and the night manager handled us all with good humor. Breakfast was great as well.

The wifi gave us trouble, and we could only get connected in the lobby. The building could use a little updating, though its historic character is part of the charm. The coastal location is wonderful, and it’s a nice place to stay if you want to be outside Dublin. We had a nice stay.

The staff were courteous and had a great sense of humor. We arrived before check-in, and they let us leave our luggage behind the counter so we could go about without carrying it. The hotel has an old-world look, and our room was clean and spacious. The price was great. In summer, a fan or air conditioning would help, since the side windows don’t let in much air. I’d recommend it and would stay again.
