Rosapenna Hotel And Golf Resort

The rooms were spacious and beautiful, with hot water available straight away, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Staff were helpful whenever we needed anything. I was there for an amazing four-night golf trip, and the courses were the highlight: Sandy Hills and The Old Tom Morris were both stunning, each with its own challenges and beauty. It's a world-class resort in an absolutely beautiful part of Ireland and the world. I can't wait to return.

The rooms deserve 4/5 stars for their layout, bedding, and bathrooms. Breakfast was high quality, and the bar and restaurant staff were friendly and professional. But I'm giving the stay 2 stars because the night and bar staff seemed more focused on finishing early than providing the hospitality you'd expect at a 4/5 star hotel. After dinner with friends in the village, we got back at 23:30 hoping for a relaxing drink before bed. Someone at reception told us the bar was closed and the staff had gone home, so we had to head to our rooms. It's not a huge issue, but when I pay to stay in a nice hotel, I expect the bar to serve residents at least until the local bars close, and maybe later. It shouldn't close before them. I look forward to coming back to Rosapena for the golf courses and local bars and restaurants, but next time my friends and I will book an AirBnB.

The three golf courses were a highlight for us as golf lovers. They were challenging, scenic, and immaculately maintained, easily making this one of our best golfing experiences. The resort's setting is breathtaking, the views are stunning, and the luxurious accommodations show real care in every detail. From the moment we arrived, every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome, valued, and relaxed. The customer service far exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return.

Every staff member we met was welcoming and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. It's one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.
