We loved staying at the Wee Green House in late summer 2021. It's just a few yards from the water, in a gorgeous, pleasant town with an excellent bakery and other useful shops. The house was spotless, comfortable, well maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. The hosts were easy to communicate with. It's also well placed for exploring Donegal's scenic coastline and natural beauty, with excellent beaches, restaurants, and pubs close by.

We loved the village, the house, and the sights around Carrigart. This was our first trip to Ireland, and though people suggested Dublin and tours of the cliffs, we're so glad we chose the Wee Green House instead. It gave us room to unwind and take in Irish life, as well as a place to sleep and shower. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to make breakfast every morning and a few dinners, and it was lovely to relax there after days of sightseeing and hikes. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, and the shower was great. We could park right beside the house and walk everywhere in town. It was easy to find, and the owners were helpful, easy to deal with, and had lots of reference material in the house. The town is lovely, and the house was perfect for us. Definitely recommend it, and we can't wait to go back.

We've now stayed at the wee green house twice and had a great time both visits. It's a good base for exploring the wild Atlantic way, and Downings Bay, with its beautiful beach and great golf course, is a short distance away. Brandon, the host, kept in touch throughout and was really helpful with our questions. Roku TV and WiFi were great for the family members who can't be without their phones 😀

We loved our stay at the Wee Green House and would happily come back. The location was perfect, the house was very clean, and the attention to detail meant everything we could need was there. The area is picturesque, with little shops right nearby, from takeaway and a chemist to a 24/7 and a gift shop.

The beautiful town was easy to get around, and the house worked perfectly for our family of four. It had a kitchen, bathroom, and single, double, and queen beds, with enough space that we didn't feel cramped. We had a splendid time and would recommend it.
