Cashel Palace Hotel

The rooms were so comfortable, and the terrace view was incredible. I loved the attention to detail, including the local apple juice and complimentary minibar. The spa was amazing, and the gym and pool were seriously cool. It’s a gorgeous hotel with the friendliest staff.

The spa downstairs has a lovely pool that extends outside, plus a sauna, steam room, relaxation rooms, and a gym. Some rooms are dog friendly, which was a surprise. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with tea, coffee, and a minibar, and the beds were so comfortable that I slept wonderfully. I also loved the cozy open-fire atmosphere in the relaxing rooms that look out onto the gardens, for residents only. Right in the heart of Cashel, close to the Rock of Cashel, the hotel is full of charm, sophistication, and elegance. The staff really treat you like royalty. The food and wine are first class, and even if you came just for a meal, I think it’s Michelin star standard. It would be perfect for an intimate wedding or a special birthday.

A real five-star hotel, with exquisite style, a lovely atmosphere, and friendly, professional staff. It’s a popular spot, so booking may be necessary, though we were lucky this time. We had a great lunch or snack here, and I’d highly recommend it. I’ll return.

The servers were the highlight of the experience, they were fabulous. But the Michelin star dinner at the cashel palace was very underwhelming for the price. The room where it was served felt cold and plain, with only a simple tablecloth and a plastic lamp on the table. The food was good at best, and the desserts were sour, which wasn’t what I expected. Overall, really disappointing and not worth the money.
