The breakfast was simple, but really tasty, and the service was excellent. Gavin deserves a big thank you for being such a lovely, hardworking person with a great personality. The hotel is in a good spot, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

We got a great deal with breakfast and dinner included. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly, and our room was clean. It's in a great location too.

We were a group of six, all ordering different meals, and the food still came out quickly. The dining area was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly, quick to respond, and glad to help. We live locally and didn't stay overnight, but I'd definitely recommend eating here.

Check-in and check-out were friendly, smooth, and among the most professional we've experienced. The staff made a real effort to welcome us. The hotel has a wonderfully grand, old-fashioned feel, especially in the lobby and bar, which are full of character and beautifully kept. The bar also makes a great pornstar martini. Our room was comfortable and had what we needed, though it felt dated rather than grand, with limited space, low ceilings, and traditional decor. Parking is close by, but not on the hotel grounds. We had a mixed meal at the restaurant. The waiter seemed a bit uncertain about what we wanted, though the food was tasty and fairly priced. At breakfast, the servers were kind, but the food was very basic in both choice and flavour. We slept well and felt we got good value for the money. If you enjoy classic interiors and attentive service and don't mind a vintage-feeling room, there's plenty to like here. The lobby and bar really stay with you.
