Abbeyglen Castle Hotel

The evening began with champagne and a lovely meet and greet. Our host was engaging, a great storyteller, and made everyone feel like an old friend. My daughters and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful castle. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and both the food and accommodation were amazing. Truly a memorable experience.

We’ve already started planning another visit. There are lovely walks close by, from the mudflats to the old castle and monuments, and you can set out from the castle and see where you end up. My family and I only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed much longer. The castle is beautiful and everyone made us feel welcome. I can’t recommend it enough.

Brian and Ronan were wonderful to work with, and Brian was there over our wedding weekend as such a warm, attentive host. He really cared that our guests felt welcome and at home, and we felt that way too. From the minute we arrived, Abbeyglen felt like home, and we miss it already. The whole team took such care with every detail. No request felt like too much, and they made the whole process easy. We had a wedding we’ll never forget, with memories we’ll treasure. Our guests keep talking about the food, the beautiful venue and rooms, and all the little surprises that made it special. Thank you to everyone at the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel.

Dinner and breakfast were fantastic, and the bar had a great atmosphere. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, thanks Froda, and the location and hospitality were both spot on. We only booked one night. If we’d known how good it was, we’d have planned to stay a few. I’m out of adjectives for now, but I’ll have some ready when we come back. Cheers!
