We got great value for the area, with a super clean room and very nice staff. Breakfast was delicious, with different options for guests staying more than one night. The area is so beautiful, and we'd love to come back with more time for hiking.

I loved my stay at the Dun Rí so much that I might come back to Clifden just to stay there. I'm vegetarian and from the USA, so that's part of where I'm coming from. The price was very good, especially since I expected a vacation town to cost upwards of $200/night. The bed was firm and comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely, with beautiful wall tile and good water pressure. The shower had a handheld head. Housekeeping and the servers were all pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was the cherry on top. Those roasted tomatoes were unbelievable, meaty and so good, like ones I'd swear were home grown back in the States. My only wish for another visit would be one more breakfast choice. The options felt a bit slim, so I had the same delicious breakfast two days running.

I've stayed here three or four times, and the breakfast is good. The place feels dated now and could use a makeover. The en suite needs updating, and it's short on decent toiletries and small touches like cotton wool pads, cotton ear buds, and good hand wash.

Breakfast has a varied menu, from cereal and a full Irish fry to smoked salmon for a more discerning palate. The staff and proprietor are some of the nicest people you could meet. I was struck on arrival by how clean and well kept the establishment was, and the rooms are impeccable. This is undoubtedly one of the finest B+B's I've had the pleasure of staying in, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

The staff were helpful and very personable, and the location is right on the edge of downtown, with all services a short walk away. The room was a little small, mostly because there was too much furniture, and we had no space for suitcases.
