We felt uneasy the whole weekend, as though we were being watched and expected to be in bed by a certain time. When we drove into town and returned, someone seemed to watch from the window, and there was knocking on our doors. For a quiet, private break in a glamping pod, I’d recommend Eyeries glamping pods instead. We never felt uncomfortable there.

It was a really unpleasant stay. Paula spoke to us condescendingly and falsely accused us of smoking in the room, saying she had seen us at the window. We felt watched whenever we arrived or left, with no privacy, and worried about making a sound because it seemed we had a bedtime. She even complained when we went out to my car to get something. My girlfriend and I came for a weekend away, but I wouldn’t stay here unless being supervised and harassed sounds appealing.

The cabin was cozy and the gardens lovely. Friendly hosts too, a really nice place to stay.

A snug, comfortable glamping pod, just right for getting away from the everyday work grind in the city.
