Isaacs Hotel Cork City

The window in room 220 looked out at a waterfall, and breakfast was very solid. The staff make every stay easy and go above and beyond, especially with off-site parking. It's just a great hotel, every time. Love this place.

The team, especially Irena and Laura, have been so kind to us. They remembered we were visiting a family member in ICU and gave us early check-ins and room upgrades. The staff are brilliant, breakfast is great, and it's a wonderful place to stay. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cork now. Top.

The train station was an easy enough walk when we continued our travels around Ireland. Staff also gave us helpful suggestions for places to eat and hear music. We loved our stay at Hotel Isaacs: the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

The room was incredibly quiet, so we got a good night's sleep despite being in a tourist area with heavy traffic. The staff were lovely, and the cleaning seemed thorough. We didn't find a single hair in the bathroom or room. It's an old hotel and creaks when you walk; the decor isn't beautiful, but the rooms are laid out thoughtfully. There are well-placed outlets, a hair dryer, somewhere to work on a laptop and do hair and makeup, gentle reading lights on both sides of the bed, extra towels in the armoire, two water bottles, tea and coffee, and air conditioning that worked well. If you know you're booking a three-star hotel, you won't be disappointed.
