We had Room 6-6, a one bed apartment in the Crawford House part of the complex, and it suited us perfectly. I had a couple of hosp appointments, so my hubby could relax while I was busy. Everything was spotless. There was a large fridge freezer, mini dishwasher, hob, oven and microwave, plus tea, coffee, sugar, milk and kitchen cleaning products. We didn't need the small private patio, which is available for smokers, but it would be nice to sit out in summer. Our daughter, who works in Cork, came over for a takeaway on the night of my op, and there were plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. Private parking was plentiful, with easy public transport access too. The staff were welcoming and so friendly. It was excellent value, and I recommend Killarney Guest House 100%. It'll definitely be our 'go-to' home from home in Cork. ☘️

We stayed in an apartment for just one night, but I could have happily spent a month there. It was a comfortable retreat at the end of the day, with tastefully chosen furnishings in excellent condition. The price was quite reasonable, and downtown was a short walk away. Our host was endlessly friendly and accommodating. Part of me wants everyone to know about this place, while another part wants to keep it secret and precious.

The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and very tasty, though the choices were limited. The staff were friendly and always ready to answer questions, and the manager was super nice. It's very close to downtown and an ideal place to sleep for a few days. There was quite a bit of background noise, but it wasn't enough to disturb my sleep.

It's a bit far from the city centre, so allow for a 20min walk or a taxi if you're going out for a drink. The room was large and clean with a comfy bed; the bathroom was small, but fine. Breakfast was great with lots of options, although most of the time it isn't included in the room price, so be aware. The guy serving breakfast was friendly and chatty, which made us feel welcome. The place itself was welcoming too, and the staff were super helpful.

The welcome was good, and we were upgraded from a double bedroom to a flat in the Crawford building. Our bedroom at the back was quiet, though the bed was only 140 cm wide. The hot water wasn't clear, perhaps an issue with the tank, and the wifi was really unstable. For the quality, I don't think the price was very good.
